Hagerstown C.C. Soccer Adds Jacob Bickley to Recruiting Class
Hagerstown, Md.- Frederick High School senior, Jacob Bickley, has recently announced his commitment to the Hagerstown Community College men's soccer team.
Bickley, who recently moved to Frederick from Littleton, CO played for the Cadets during his senior season. He helped Frederick High to a 10-5-1 overall record before losing in the 3A West Quarterfinals.
Bickley earned Second Team All-Area and Second Team All-Conference honors for the 2013 season. As a striker for the Cadets, he was second on the team in goals (10), assists (6) and points (26).
Prior to FHS, he played for Dakota Ridge High School in Colorado. The Eagles finished 5-10-1 his junior season. Bickley scored three goals from his midfield position and recorded six points in 2012.
Bickley has played club for Rush Nike, Rush Swoosh, and Littleton United.
As a Hawk, he will be reunited with Frederick High teammate Za Ceu and alumnus Jusseth Velazquez. He also joins recently committed Frederick County recruits Axel Lara and Mark Keating. He will be joined by Montgomery County recruits Christian Mejia, Nery Feuntes, and Xavier Matthews. Washington County players Bradley Mills, Jacob Ernst, Zach Robertson, Hart Weaver, and Collin McVicker has all announced their commitment, as well as Shad Gordon from Southern Fulton.
"Jacob is a versatile player that we feel we can use at different spots on the field," mentioned head coach Brian Eichelberger. "Preseason will be a very exciting time because we can get a sense of what position best fits our players and Jacob has the natural speed and ability to compete right away."
