HCC Sophomore Leland Creadick Commits to Hood College
Hagerstown, Md.- Sophomore captain, Leland Creadick, recently committed to Division III, Hood College to continue his education and playing career.
Creadick, a Middletown High School graduate, experienced a stellar playing career with the Hawks. During his two years, he started all 39 games and amassed a total of 30 points. He tallied seven goals and added 15 assists. He was ranked in the top five on the team each season for assists and points.
In 2014, Creadick received numerous individual honors, including Second Team All-Region XX and Comeback Player of the Year. In 2013, he was awarded as the Team Un-Sung Hero.
Hood College is located in Frederick, Md. and competes in the Commonwealth Conference. Last season they finished 8-9-1 and won seven of nine games in the middle of their season, while outscoring their opponents, 23-8.
"It was a pleasure having Leland as part of our program", noted head coach Brian Eichelberger. "He possess an excellent work ethic and he is passionate about the game. Leland was able to control our midfield every game for two years. He played hurt and tired and it never showed. Our coaching staff is extremely proud of Leland's efforts and we are excited he is staying close to home so we can follow his success!"
