Southern Fulton Goalkeeper Commits to Hagerstown
 

Hagerstown, Md.- Southern Fulton Senior Goalkeeper, Shad Gordon, recently announced is commitment to the Hagerstown Community College Men's Soccer team for the Fall 2014 season.

Gordon, a Mid-Penn All-Star in 2013 led the Indians to their most successful season in program history. As a senior captain, Gordan was also awarded Team MVP and was featured as Public Opinion Male Athlete of the Week. 

Gordan finished the 2013 season with 245 saves and one shut out, averaging 14 saves per game. Gordon was named to the 33rd Annual PIAA Central PA Scholastic All-Star Soccer Game, in which his team won. 

In 2010 and 2011, Gordon played midfield and forward for the Indians, before moving to the goalkeeper spot in 2012. 

In addition to playing at Southern Fulton, he participated in WAYS Soccer Club for four years. 

"In speaking with Shad, he is focused on becoming a better goalkeeper and looks forward to the opportunity of collegiate soccer," mentioned Head Coach Brian Eichelberger. "Since we graduated our starting goalkeeper and our other keeper transferred, the spot is open for competition. We look forward to working with each recruited keeper we bring in so they can make this team better."
