HCC Hosts Annual Recruit Signing Night
Hagerstown, Md. - The Hagerstown Community College men’s soccer team recently hosted their annual recruit Signing Night in the ARCC, on the campus of HCC.

The 2013 signing class consists of players from the Tri-State area (Frederick and Washington County, and Pennsylvania and West Virginia). The Hawks opened the night with coaches Brian Eichelberger and Brandon Rethemeyer thanking the families and friends for attending, as well as stating the upcoming expectations for the season. The players signed “Letters of Commitment” before taking photos with their HCC jersey and being officially welcomed as the newest Hawks. The players ended the evening by writing down their own goals, both personally and athletically and sealed them in an envelope to be reviewed after their first full season.

The following players made their commitment official:

Edgar Rivas - Thomas Johnson High School
Ethan Waters - Hedgesville High School
Jacob Hargett - Middletown High School
Akheem Riley - Thomas Johnson High School
Yusif Badirov - North Hagerstown High School
Dillon Eyler - Catocin High School
Patrick Creadick - Middletown High School
Leland Creadick - Middletown High School
Jonah Smith - Waynesboro High School/Shippensburg University
Jusseth Velazquez - Frederick High School (unable to attend)

"Each of these players were recruited for a specific reason," stated Eichelberger. "They all posses a talent and the right attitude that will help our program meet our goals. This is one of our largest signing classes (10) and we are eager to begin training with them and kicking off the 2013 season."

The Hawks open their season August 30 at home against Potomac State College.
