Virginia Area Senior Commits to Hagerstown C.C.
Hagerstown, Md.- Heritage High School senior, Hashir Khan, has recently announced his commitment to the Hagerstown Community College men’s soccer team.
Khan, a member of the varsity team for Heritage Pride (Leesburg, Va.), plays attacking and left midfielder. The Pride currently holds a record of 7-2-4 with three games remaining . Heritage is making a bid for the State Championship as they are unbeaten in their last seven matches. Last season, the Pride finished 7-9-1 and lost in the first round of the playoffs.
In club soccer, Kahn competed with Loudoun 95Black, in the NCSL D2 League. In two seasons, he recorded one goal and five assists.
At HCC, Kahn will join Washington County recruits, Tim Horning, Nathan Redmond, Ryan Byard and Adam Dwyer. Alejandro Oliart, Ernesto Mejia, Geordy Nyam, Eric Madrid and Diego Claros all come from Montgomery County and Jose Ramirez rounds out the recruiting class from Frederick County.
"Hashir is a hard-working, versatile player," mentioned head coach Brian Eichelberger. "We can plug him into any spot on the field where we feel we need his talents and we are confident he will succeed. He plays smart, quick, and has an intense determination to exceed the goals he sets."
