Hagerstown C.C. Announces Newest Hawk
Hagerstown, Md. -
Chucky Kipe, a senior at Tuscarora High School in Frederick, Md. tallied four assists his senior year, as well as garnering All-Area Honorable Mention and Senior Excellence Awards. He helped the Titans to a 9-2-5 overall record, with their second loss on the season coming in the Region Quarterfinals. Chucky was extremely versatile, playing center mid, outside mid, outside back, and even goalkeeper. He was hampered by injuries his freshman year, but excelled in his sophomore season, being named team captain and scoring three goals and adding three assists. He was also a member of the 2008 3A State Championship team and a teammate of former Hawk, CJ Trammell.

Kipe has been playing club soccer for 11 years, with Frederick Excel, FC Frederick, and the Seneca Hawks. He was captain for FC Frederick while leading them to the quarterfinals in the Maryland State Cup twice.

"We are excited to be adding Chucky to our program," stated head coach Brian Eichelberger. "He plays with such high energy that he will push the other players around him. We feel he will be successful in our system because his versatility will allow us to plug him into any position we need."

Chucky joins Urbana High School senior Josh Fahlfeder as the recently committed Hawks for the 2011 season.
