Local Product, Trevor Knode, Commits to Hagerstown

Hagerstown
, Md.
- Williamsport High School senior, Trevor Knode, has recently announced his commitment to the Hagerstown Community College men’s soccer team.

During his senior season, Knode scored nine goals and added three assists for the Wildcats, where he featured as a striker. Williamsport finished 9-5-3 on the year. Knode was a second team Central Maryland Conference selection, a second team Washington County Coaches selection, a second team Herald Mail selection, and was honored as the MaxPreps Maryland player of the week for Oct. 23-29, 2017, during his senior season.  As a junior, Trevor scored four goals, and tallied four assists in an injury-shortened season. Knode helped Williamsport to be crowned as Washington County champions as they finished with a 13-3-1 record in 2016. The striker was selected to the Washington County Coaches second team in 2016.

Knode also participated in baseball for the Wildcats. As a sophomore, they were the state runner-up.

Knode joins fellow Washington county standout, Ryan Wagner. Joining them will be previously committed Jason Medrano from Montgomery County.

“A strong work ethic will take you a long way, add size and speed to that and that’s exactly what we’re getting in Trevor, we are excited to add him to our front line,” says assistant coach Nate Pryor.
