South Hagerstown Senior will Continue Soccer Career with Hagerstown Community College

Hagerstown, Md. - South Hagerstown High School graduate Kwasi Boateng Ofusu-Ameya chooses to attend Hagerstown Community College for the fall to continue his soccer career.

In 2011, Boateng, a team captain, netted eight goals and added three assists for 21 points. He earned First Team All-County, First Team All-County Coaches and First Team All-Antietam Conference. Boateng was also named to the Four Diamonds All-Star Squad. He earned the South Hagerstown High School Tri-Athlete Award for Soccer, Indoor and Outdoor Track.

In 2010 Boateng recorded 15 points from six goals and three assists. He was Second Team All-County, Second Team All-County Coaches and Second Team All-Antietam Conference. 

"We are very excited to be adding KB to our program for the upcoming season," mentioned Head Coach Brian Eichelberger. "He has a knack for scoring, combined with tremendous speed. We look forwad to using his abilities right away, as we begin preseason in less than a month."
