Northwest Graduate to Attend Hagerstown C.C.

Hagerstown, Md.- Northwest High School Graduate, Eric Madrid, has recently announced his commitment to the Hagerstown Community College men’s soccer team.

Madrid, a three year varsity member for Northwest High School (Germantown, Md.) played left midfielder for the Jaguars. He helped the team win three straight Division titles within Montgomery County. He finished his high school career with six goals and 12 assists for 24 points.

At HCC, Madrid will be reunited with former teammate Alejandro Oliart, as well Montgomery county natives Ernesto Mejia, Geordy Nyam, and Diego Claros. Washington county players, Tim Horning, Ryan Byard and Adam Dwyer join Frederick county player Jose Ramirez as other Hawk recruits.

"Eric really strengthens our midfield," mentioned head coach Brian Eichelberger. "He brings versatility and flair that will be used in our formation. We are excited to be adding his talent and we are eager to watch him excel in the MDJUCO conference."
