Commits to Hagerstown C.C.

Hagerstown, Md. - South Hagerstown High School Senior, Chip Rittenhouse, recently committed to Hagerstown Community College for the fall season.

In 2010, Rittenhouse, the goalkeeper for the Rebels, was named First Team All-County Coaches, First Team All-MVAL Antietam, and Second Team All-County. He also named to the Four Diamonds All-Star game and represented Washington County.

South Hagerstown finished 4-9-0 and lost to Damascus in the 3A West Region Playoffs. Rittenhouse has been a member of the Hagerstown Revolution Club Team.

"We are excited to be adding Chip to our recruiting class for the 2011 season," mentioned Head Coach Brian Eichelberger. "With the departure of our two year starting goalkeeper, we look for Chip to come in and compete right away for the position. He has natural talent and is very athletic, which will make him a dangerous goalkeeper in our conference."
